About the event
Speaker: William Fleming
Working time compression and working time reduction are two arrangements which are regularly confused, especially in corporate and public policy. Using the same dataset - UK Household Longitudinal Survey / Understanding Society - this paper compares the two working time arrangements through subjective wellbeing and domestic labour outcomes. Findings reveal divergent implications for workers.
